I'm hooked on the netflix Japanese reality show "Terrace House".

6 (beautiful) strangers living in a house with no script.

Strangely soothing and beautiful. They all interact in such a different way to Westerners. So civilised, the men are caring rather than alpha. So many lovely romantic stories going on.

The commentators are hilarious too!

Give it a chance, you might be surprised...

Another massive vote for Schitts Creek, simply brilliant.
Also loved Stranger Things
You
The Good Place.
Trying to find something new to watch now.
I love these posts as I always get loads of ideas x

slimthinpin · 01/02/2019 21:43

PS appreciate it's not a film or typical box set but there are 47 episodes, you can get sucked right in!

buckeejit · 01/02/2019 22:07

Mr Mercedes -Prime

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 02/02/2019 16:38

Not on Netflix but for anyone with Sky or Now TV, who are fans of The Thick of It

Veep

Binge watching obsessively, absolutely loving it. Hilarious!

The trouble is, it will ruin you for any other other White House dramas like Designated Survivor and Madam Secretary, which are very tame and cheesy by comparison. Grin

nandaandm · 02/02/2019 16:50

I've binge watched the whole series of Russian Doll on Netflix today. Definitely worth a watch.... my house is a shit tip though

overitalready · 02/02/2019 16:54

Netflix :
Abducted in plain site - you have to see it to believe it & even then you might not

Cagliostro · 02/02/2019 17:02

I’m currently watching the Sinner and the Alienist

Also watched You recently

Cooroo · 02/02/2019 17:05

Crazy Exgirlfriend. I liked most of the things you mentioned and never would have expected to enjoy CExGF but it's very, very good.

Mindgone · 02/02/2019 17:06

We have loved Atypical on Netflix. It’s American, about a family with two teenagers, one of whom is autistic. There’s a lot of humour in it, as well as an insight into the difficulties for the whole family. I miss it!

QuimReaper · 02/02/2019 17:07

I binged Sex Education last week, it was very funny!

Ursaminor · 02/02/2019 17:11

If you haven't already watched it, totally recommend Unforgotten - best police procedural type series I've ever seen.

Dowser · 02/02/2019 17:14

Loved the crown... my era
Peaky blinders very good
Watching breaking bad
Two films extraordinary and unexplained
One was about the abductions of Stan Romanek

Dowser · 02/02/2019 17:15

Over it already
I’ll cstch that
Look st my previous post if you like that kind of thing

Dowser · 02/02/2019 17:18

I’d love to watch something like the haunting of hill house but don’t have the nerve

viktoria · 02/02/2019 17:20

4 Blocks in Amazon Prime. Absolutely brilliant German series set in Berlin.

squashyhat · 02/02/2019 17:36

Not RTFT so someone may have mentioned Heartland on Netflix already. Canadian family drama series about a rehabilitation ranch for damaged horses. Beautiful scenery, gentle well-written stories, humour, bit of love interest. I am completely hooked and there are 11 series! (and it's still being made). Perfect for a binge-watching on a chilly night.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 02/02/2019 17:38

Sons of Anarchy.

MillicentSnitch · 02/02/2019 17:43

GLOW (the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling), loosely based on a true story about a 1980s all-female wrestling troupe & very engaging.

Ballbags · 02/02/2019 17:44

Master of None is probably one of the best comedy series of all time.
Sex Education was very good
The Staircase - utterly compelling true crime
Black Mirror - some episodes are outstanding
Transparent on Prime but I think you either love or hate it.

Tensixtysix · 02/02/2019 17:52

Inside No9
A series of Unfortunate Events
Rick and Morty

DianaPrincessOfThemyscira · 02/02/2019 19:20

Oh, Dark is also great.

Ylvamoon · 02/02/2019 19:27

Dogs of Berlin
Mind hunter

... My other favourites have all been mentioned.

RageAgainstTheVendingMachine · 02/02/2019 19:28

nandaandm Same here on both counts. Thought Russia Doll was bloody fantastic.
