What names would you give these two kittens?

We are adopting them and they are currently called Phyllis and Humphrey. I want them to keep their names but two out of my 3 dc insist that we rename them. Phyllis is all black and Humphrey is the black and white one.

Any ideas / suggestions Smile?

Roy and Not Roy.

(That's what my brother named his cats.)

Fuzzy overlord 1 aka Phyllis and Fuzzy overlord 2 - AKA Humphrey.

Cats can have Sunday names, middle names and titles. I fostered a Countess Violet, Elizabeth de Fuzzybum, guardian or the scarves. OK she arrived called Violet and left with that title and name.

So you could have Lord Humphrey of Oreo, Overlord of child 2, Princess Luna Phyllis, sharpener of nails.

It makes it quite fun registering them wit the vet.

Get strips of paper, write name options, one on each strip, roll up into balls and throw at each kitten (near to not at) which ever ball of paper is played with first is their name.

Laurel and Hardy

Norma and Norman. But at this time of year something a bit Christmasy but not obviously so might be the way to go - Holly and Noel for example. Or Mary and Joseph?

I like Phyllis and Humphey though and will probably add them to my list of prospective cats names, along with a few other suggestions on this thread as I foster rescue kittens and have to come up with 10-20 names a year.

Not so keen on Phyllis although prefer it to anything suggested so far, & Humphrey is great.

Do you want "matchy" names?

Hansel & Gretel,
Fred & Ginger,
Parsley & Sage,
Hector & Zsazsa/Kiki,
Basil & Rosemary.

Chester (as in, chess... black and white...?) for Humphrey?
Molly for Phyllis? That's the name that came to me when I looked at her.

Never let children name pets. That way we got a puppy called Shepherd’s Pie and a hamster called Willie.
I’d call these two Phyllis and Humphrey.
