Hi
I’ve just had a baby and and the first two week I’ve had baby blues, now I’m doing alright but my in laws I feel some sort of pressure from them, I literally don’t like being around them, since the baby they haven’t given me any space like there constantly there because of the baby & it’s getting to me a lot now and making me feel down what should I do ?

Ask dh to mention you need some time alone.
Make plans out of the house and tell them you aren't available for visits....
Invite them when dh is home so he can boot them out when needed!
If you feel able to go have a bath /nap /peace and quiet - from them not the baby!

How much did you see them before the baby?
You are recovering from childbirth and have an exhausting newborn, of course family want to meet the baby and to support you both as parents, but that involves offering help, not pushing it, ringing or texting to see if a short visit is convenient etc.

Your DH should be gatekeeper at this time, is he supportive of how you feel?
The most important thing in these early weeks is your recovery, establishing your baby’s feeding and establishing a secure bond. You nred rest and lots of skin to skin contact.
Tell your DH you need some time to yourselves, and ask him to communicate that to his parents. If he won’t, speak to your midwife or HV and insist he meets with them to discuss his concerns. Their grandchild will be around for the rest of their lives, they don’t need to crowd you at this time 💐

I II’ve with them which is what makes it difficult and I’ve spoken to my husband last week but he don’t understand me!

Have you got family you could go to for a break?
DH doesn’t have to understand you (although I bet he does) he just has to do as you ask at this critical time for you.

Tbh if you live in their house how are they meant to give you space?

Your OH needs to tell them to back off. Your health is more important than them seeing the baby and if he thinks anything of you he'll understand that Thanks
