It is itching like crazy and it feels hot. I haven’t done anything to it and I haven’t changed any soaps etc. Any ideas to stop it itching?

What do you think this is?

It looks and sounds just like an allergic reaction. Do you have antihistamine in the house? Take one and see if it helps.

I will nip down the coop and get some piriton.

Looks like a rash Ive had for a long time, not found out the exact cause but cutting milk out has really helped (also other symptoms, mainly ibs has got better)
It seems to be an allergic issue coupled with dermotographica (wrong spelling I'm sure) can you 'write' on yourself using your fingernails and it stays for a while?
Antihistamines help as does eurax cream I've found but the cause is much more difficult to find.

swapsicles. I can write on myself yes. I will look up the derma thing.

Eczema, I get it, it comes and goes and moves from place to place. Had it in a similar place to you on my arm a lot, then on one side of my neck/shoulder, wondered if it was an allergy reaction to long dangly earrings. Currently have it on my ribs, both sides.

I find a bath with a handful or two of Himalayan salt stops the fire and itching for quite a while. For a small patch like that, I use a damp piece of kitchen roll and a few grains of said salt. If it's severe, sometimes two applications are needed.

It's a question of finding what works for you, unfortunately like the causes, (triggers) the remedies tend to be pretty much individual.
Mine tends to appear if I'm really cross about something and cannot let it out. DD's is more often than not food related.

Have a look on the allergies board.

Go to a supermarket with a pharmacy and ask the pharmacist to take a look
