Best xmas hamper?

I'm looking for a nice hamper for an older relative. I'm willing to spend about £50-£100.

Ideally, it would contain a few nice items and a bottle of wine. I don't like the ones hat have bags of pasta and tins of fruit in, as they look like charity baskets?

I like the marksies ones, t you don't seem to get much for your money?

Any suggestions?

Make your own. You can but the empty hampers from Card Factory and put things your relative would like in it.

So my employer has ordered us Betty's Hampers as Christmas gifts (I know this as I had to collect the delivery and Director told me what they were for)

ANYWAY, they look delicious and have a great variety too

Most ready made hampers are very overpriced for what you get and there will always be some things in that the recipient doesn't like.

Lots of shops sell empty hampers, like card factory suggested above, or I saw them yesterday, £4.99 for a basket, tissue paper and film. This would have been in either Lidl, M&S or Wilko because that's where I went yesterday, but you will be able to get these in many card shops or shops like Wilko, the Range or supermarkets.

The relative is in a different part of the country, so the ha,per needs to be ready-made and order-able online

Fortnum and Mason for a real treat, but you do get less for your money.

Aldi ones are fantastic

I've ordered from hamper.com this year. There was lots of choice.

Also, back in February someone sent me a tiny rose bush through the post from Bloom & Wild. It's flowered from then right through until October and is now in a pot in the garden where it grew about two feet over the summer.

A Betty’s hamper from an employer? Wow!

I often find that hampers are full of things no one really wants! (Betty’s being the exception).
