I like it but other than pesto I don’t really know what to do with it

Anyone got a good recipe?

I still make the Ella’s kitchen beef hotpot with gnocchi dumplings. Really tasty.

If it's for kids, we do something called pizza gnocchi. Soak gnocchi for 2mins in boiling water. Drain & put in baking tray.

Add tomato purée and anything else you'd put on a pizza, add olive oil in & toss it around a bit. Top with mozzarella and cook for 25mins. Great for kids to help make & they seem to like it!

You can roast them! Shock
The shepherd's pie topping and mini roasties are calling me!
I always do any pasta sauce, but that sounds well boring next to this lot! Thank you for starting this, OP!

You’ll never want those pale doughy little blobs again once you’ve baked them. I never really got gnocchi until this revelation!

Jamie Oliver's sausage gnocchi (don't bother making the salad though Grin)

Inspired by this thread I tried roasting them last night. Fantastic! I’ve never been a big fan of the flabby little things when boiled but they are lovely roasted. I did butternut squash, pine nuts, sage and feta. So good!

WhipItGood · 14/12/2018 07:28

Omg I’ve been doing this wrong then!

Right maybe I’m going to get my lot eating gnocchi after all. They all gave it the royal thumbs down years ago 🙄 which has always annoyed me as it looks like a good (cheap) idea for midweek meals. Great ideas many thanks x
