Feel like hair growing on upper lip, chin and neck is meant to be for men, not women. I'm in my 30s and did not have this before! How many women have this? Is it normal? I'm not heavily into grooming, bleaching, waxing, make up etc but I fear the general public cannot deal with what I have. Xmas Blush Is there something in the city water or is this naturally the next stage?

Yep, here too. I have always been pretty hairy all over but it has definitely got worse since I hit 40 (and had a Mirena fitted?).
Daily removal of moustache.... (very dark / bristly so couldn't wait for it to grow for waxing) and continual plucking of thick / dark hairs from chin (probably should be removing the whole lot there too, but it feels like it's a slippery slope I don't want to go down yet!).

I find myself stroking my own chin while watching TV in the evening. Just as relaxing but less hassle than a pet.

Me! And as my eyesight goes I'm dreading having hairs and not being able to see themBlushHave instructed dd to keep an eye and tell me when they're getting noticeable and a magnifying mirror is on my Christmas list!

Me! I have PCOS though. I could absolutely grow a beard and in fact feel down about this quite often.

Oh you just wait. Turning 50 is great if you want a career in the circus 😁. I have a magnifying mirror, most depressing thing as it magnifies your wrinkles as well. In my opinion everybody should have the eyesight of a 50 year old, no wrinkles, hairs or dust to be seen 😏.

I've only started getting chin hairs in the last couple of years. I'm 30. They're getting worse (although thankfully still not bad enough to be really visible) and I have hairs around my nipples which never used to be there, which are way more mortifying. I wonder what's causing it, it seems not uncommon but not "normal" for facial / body hair to suddenly increase.

I don't have this, even post menopause, but I'm very fair.

Oh, apart from one fine white hair that randomly grows out of my forehead every so often Confused
