Gosh, if that’s the only reason she’s gone down in my estimation. It just looks ridiculous.

53rdWay · 12/12/2018 22:05

Some people do just show a lot from fairly early on. I did, even with DC1, and it wasn't GD or twins or a huge baby. "Haha are you SURE it's not twins in there?" comments got tiring very very fast.

She does have a large bump for a first pregnancy if she's really due in the Spring - could be down to all sorts of things though. She's an older first time mum, could be hyperhidrosis, could be twins, could be baby is in a funny position, could be her abdominal muscles are relatively weak...etc. There's just no way of knowing.

Honeyroar · 12/12/2018 22:14

Due in Feb? I thought she barely looked pregnant.

moredoll · 12/12/2018 22:15

Does anyone know why she keeps holding the bump with two hands? It looks so weird, but maybe there’s a valid reason?

cafenoirbiscuit · 12/12/2018 22:16

Have there ever been twins in the royal family? I can’t think of any ....

Believeitornot · 12/12/2018 22:17

I wish people weren’t such wankers about a pregnant women. Leave her be.

sunshineNdaisies · 12/12/2018 22:17

dont think so. the only recent royal twins were in monaco

Myheartbelongsto · 12/12/2018 22:17

Who gives two shits.

SlowlyShrinking · 12/12/2018 22:21

What is it that bothers people about the bump-cradling?

Believeitornot · 12/12/2018 22:22

What is it that bothers people about the bump-cradling?

Who knows. It’s a natural instinct as far as I can tell.

brizzledrizzle · 12/12/2018 22:22

If it's twins then I expect they will be giving at least two shits, babies are quite prolific in that regard.

WhatsUpHun · 12/12/2018 22:22

Seriously how many threads about some woman who has her hands on her bump!?

Samcro · 12/12/2018 22:25

I know she is haveing quads.
She is going to call them after the people in suits. I know this as a fact as one of the queens corgis told me

LizzieSiddal · 12/12/2018 22:26

I think it’s very natural to have one hand on the bump, but I’ve never seen any woman doing the two hand thing, (other than Demi in the nude, pregnancy shot).

If you walked around with both hands on the bump, you’ve got no hands left to do anything elseGrin

SlowlyShrinking · 12/12/2018 22:26

Believeitornot yes, it seems fairly normal to me too. I’m sure I must have cradled mine a few times. I wonder now if I was unknowingly pissing loads of people off?? Not that I care particularly

Fatizo · 12/12/2018 22:26

But why holding/cradling her bump that much? Does anybody else think it’s a tad weird? It’s not like it’s gonna fall off.... but she looks glowing. Maybe 5-6 months?

Armchairanarchist · 12/12/2018 22:31

Rumours of twins but I wasn't that big at 40 weeks, whereas my best friend was huge at 20 weeks.

Printerneedsink · 12/12/2018 22:38

She might have PGP and trying to take the pressure off?

Believeitornot · 12/12/2018 22:49

Wel given that you’ve no actualidea of how often she holds her bump and this is an event with shit loads of people examining her every move, maybe she was nervous and this was her way of comforting her and her baby....??

Give the woman a break for jeff’s sake.

123bananas · 12/12/2018 22:55

Maybe she is feeling vulnerable given all the negative press attention and her cradling her bump is an unconscious protective instinct. Wish people would just leave her alone to enjoy her pregnancy without being so judgemental.

brizzledrizzle · 13/12/2018 00:02

If it was twins they'd have announced it to detract from the soap opera that is British politics.

user1471426142 · 13/12/2018 06:53

If you look at the pregnancy pages there are always loads of women who are anxious about people mindlessly commenting on bump size (whether too big, too small, too round etc. There is huge variation in how people carry and if the comments upset normal women, it must be quite difficult to be a celeb and see lots of randoms on bump watch.

NotANotMan · 13/12/2018 07:07

Maybe her skin is sore or the muscles are hurting and having her hands on it feels soothing. Who knows. Why do you care?
