This is probably going to be the silliest question I've ever asked Hmm
but what fruit can you put in a lunchbox for a toddler?

My first thought was apples sliced up but I thought they'd go a bit funny?? Which fruit would preserve???

Lemon juice preserves apple, but don’t they slice up while fruit doe the little ones?

Otherwise clementine or banana might be easier.

Pop a tiny bit of apple or orange juice on the apple slices to keep them from going brown. Or depending on the age of the child just don’t cut it?

Bananas, satsumas, chopped grapes, pears, melon chunks/slices, pineapple (from a tin?) etc. Would all work well.

Banana, satsumas

if you get an apple slicer and slice the apple but then push it all back together and wrap in cling film it stays white for longer 😉

Youngandfree · 12/12/2018 09:10

Also strawberries, blueberries, banana, satsuma, pineapple, peach, pear, plum. And chopped grapes

themoomoo · 12/12/2018 09:25

Durian is always the go to here

Simonsaysitschristmas · 12/12/2018 10:11

Similar to what @youngandfree said you can slice an apple and then hold it together with an elastic band to prevent browning

NonaGrey · 12/12/2018 10:14

I have little tubs and put in strawberries, grapes, carrot, blueberries, raspberries, cucumber, pineapple or melon.

Also cherry tomatoes and if your child likes red peppers.
