Have you received many Christmas cards?

Just wondering...extremely quiet on the Christmas card front here so far (we have about 5) and I can’t work out if it is us being less popular this year or whether it’s the general trend of fewer cards being sent. Does everyone have lots/hardly any?

3, only one of which was correctly addressed (married 21 years and I've never been Mrs Hisname)

Eleven so far. I will write mine and send them off over the weekend. I love Christmas cards!

4 so far, but it's early yet.

Oh I have to add, out of the eleven received, one is from the milkman, one from Salvation Army and another one from another charity. So only eight from friends/family.

We have 8 up so far, though only 2 have come via the post. The rest have been handed over with Christmas presents or popped through the letterbox by neighbours and local friends.

I wrote my cards out really early this year so that I could hand as many as possible over to family and friends during present meetups and swaps. I've paid to post 15 and sent 1 via airmail, but the rest have been hand delivered to try and save on postage, which is becoming ludicrously expensive!

1. I reckon lots of people are playing chicken and will only send if they receive one from us - several friends on FB already sending out the 'no cards this year -charity donation' message.

Only two! I don't send them anymore myself so don't expect many.

Update! Two cards received today - one via post and one via a parent. Glad to hear it doesn’t seem to be just me having very few this year...

2...one from my mum, and one from my granddaughter. Which is 2 more than I've sent 🤷‍♀️ I have three packets of 10 sitting on the kitchen work top...with zero motivation for writing them 🤦‍♀️

I'm part of a fundraising Christmas card postal service and there have been dark mutterings about the lower numbers this year

5 so far. One is a homemade one. We have yet to get our regular one from our favourite Indian takeaway.

Meh I'm not a Christmas fan and cards are such a waste.

Five received so far, three of which are from over 70s. I've just written ours and have done about 20. I may do some for the neighbours next week.
The DC are bringing loads home from school.

1. We used to get loads- 100 ish.

We both have a no Christmas cards agreement at work. But have sent one to parents and aunt and uncle. DD hasn't sent any since primary school. Friends have been saying don't bother because they aren't. Suits me. I've been saying the same.

I came home from work today to our first three Christmas cards 🎄

7 so far. I send more than we get back. May cull some next year. We get handed a lot over Xmas when visiting family

Our post box was full to the top when I posted ours on Monday so obviously lots still sent
