Worried about toddler cavities

Help! DD3 saw the dentist 3 months ago who said her teeth looked fine and put some fluoride coating on her teeth.

For the last 3 days she has said her back molar hurts when she eats soft food but not when she eats crisps. Googling suggests this could be tooth sensitivity which indicates a cavity or gum disease or something horrific.

I've booked to see the dentist in the morning but I am now sick with worry. I didn't have a filling until I was 34 and barely brushed my teeth as a child and we have brushed her teeth twice a day religiously. Her diet could be better but it isn't terrible! She only drinks water.

Could it just be a random tooth pain? Please can someone make me feel a tiny bit better that it might not be something awful?

My daughter (2 1/2) says her teeth hurt sometimes and seems to coincide with a cold. Could it be the start of a cold and sinuses playing up? My teeth really ache when I get sinus trouble.

Ah thank you. She has just started with a slightly runny nose so guess that's something to consider.
