Just been diagnosed with IBS so looking for the best peppermint teabags to help ease my pain. Any good ones out there? Willing to pay anything to get the right one.

Pukka mint teabags are great - nice and strong, and plastic free!
The Tea Pigs ones are nice too, but not as environmentally friendly(if that bothers you).

Take care with mint though. It helps with trapped wind and bloating, but can make indigestion/acid worse. Pukka also do a lovely Three Ginger tea that's generally calming on the stomach.

3 ginger is lovely especially on a cold wet day like today.

I love peppermint tea! If my stomach is sore I sometimes make it with 2 teabags.

I like teapigs for a treat. Pukka also do a 3 mint one which I like.

Bonus points if I can get it on Ocado, I'm definitely going to try peppermint capsules too

Pukka and Aldi mint teas are lovely.

I’m also an IBS sufferer and my favourite is from Brew Tea Company, it’s got a really nice taste but is strong enough to settle any upset or discomfort. I’ve just bought the loose tea starter set in Morrocan Mint and I think it’s a bargain. I wouldn’t have thought about buying loose tea but they serve them in the same little pots at Marstons pubs so I decided to buy my own after trying a few times.

A bunch of actual fresh mint straight from the plant. Quick wash to get rid of dirt and bugs then add hot water and a bit of honey to sweeten.

I really like Teapigs and they use biodegradable materials now for their 'tea temples'

Asda have them on Rollback for £3

I also find Asda and Aldi own brand similar bags to be good.

Try mixing the mint with camomile too, that's very soothing.

If you have any mint in the garden you can make your own!! Just pour almost boiling water over the leaves and let it stew for a minute or so,.

I just buy Tesco peppermint tea as it's the cheapest. I've had lots over the years, and the more expensive ones aren't any /much better; it's just dried peppermint leaves after all, not much you can do to mess that up.

I also like Twinings camomile and spearmint, for a gentler minty experience.
