Just curious. DD's teacher doesn't give much away (even at parents night) so would be intrigued as to what age child you would expect this work to have been done by?

It says "I am siting on the cawch"

Cawch means couch 😂

I'd say 4.

formerbabe · 06/12/2018 23:02

6? But I wouldn't be surprised if it was done by an older or younger child.

Fairypiggy · 06/12/2018 23:04

Similar to my dad who is 5.

AfterSchoolWorry · 06/12/2018 23:04

Well, 5/6?

But, it could be a gifted 3 year old or a 10 year old with poor fine motor skills?

ChangingStates · 06/12/2018 23:04

Reception child, possibly year 1

AlexaShutUp · 06/12/2018 23:05

I'd say about 4 too.

INeedNewShoes · 06/12/2018 23:05

5

autumnleaf1 · 06/12/2018 23:05

I'm going to say 5, my 6 year old writes a bit better than that, but not much better

Joinourclub · 06/12/2018 23:05

Reception age

NotUmbongoUnchained · 06/12/2018 23:06

Quite similar to my 4 year olds writing

katienana · 06/12/2018 23:06

Looks like what my ds was doing in reception.

SD1978 · 06/12/2018 23:06

4-6. Primary one age

applesauce1 · 06/12/2018 23:07

So happy to see the correct present progressive form of "to sit". So many use the incorrect "I am sat".
I'd say Year 1 (5 or 6). I am a Y2 teacher but have taught the range of KS1 and KS2.

Sequinsofcourse · 06/12/2018 23:07

Aged 6/7

Frozenteatowel · 06/12/2018 23:07

6-7?

Blondielongie · 06/12/2018 23:08

5 or 6 maybe? Or maybe a bit older or younger for the reasons a pp said. Your child has remembered capital letters and it makes sense to spell couch like cawch. They have sounded it out.
There are no spaces and the writing looks quite big. However the letters are recognisable and are consistent in size. How old is your child??

schooltripwoes · 06/12/2018 23:09

5-6.

I'd guess Yr 1, or maybe an older (5 yr old) reception child.

cfmagnet · 06/12/2018 23:09

I'd say 6/7.

eurochick · 06/12/2018 23:10

I'd say reception/year 1. My reception child couldn't do it but she's the youngest in the class. I reckon some of her peers could.

VelvetKitty · 06/12/2018 23:11

I'd say reception aged 4/5. Very similar to my DD at that age.

WaterBird · 06/12/2018 23:11

6-7

greyspottedgoose · 06/12/2018 23:11

I would say year one

Claw001 · 06/12/2018 23:13

About 5ish.

cornnotonacob · 06/12/2018 23:13

Bright reception/middle ability year 1
