I'm looking for a few sensible suggestions (if you'd be so kind) as to how I can fix a problem at my sons nursery, please.
A month ago my son tripped and hit his head on a wooden window sill in his room at nursery. He's a toddler so naturally clumsy. The window sill is at toddler chest height so they can see out into the garden. He got a bump on the head but nothing worse.
Today he did the same thing again but this time caught his eyebrow bone. 5mm lower and it would have been his eye and broke his nose, so the doctors say. He's got a terrible, swollen, black eye now. We spent the morning at the walk in centre checking he hadn't fractured his eye socket etc. I feel so bad for him
I don't want this to happen again. It was so close to being so much worse than he's already got, and that's not good! He's in pain and I don't like one bit that he's suffering.
How can they make the window sill safer? Pad it out seems to be the obvious solution? I want to complain tomorrow but want to go in armed with suggestions rather than just complaints because I want them to address this asap.
Sorry for the long post but thanks if you got this far!
