Does anyone have a Revlon pro collection salon one step hair dryer and volumiser and what are your opinions of it? I'm looking to buy one but they've now gone up to almost £70! Is there anyway that sells them for less (around £35ish) or a sale coming up? Or is there something simular out there which is just as good for the same price?

Still showing as the £60 price for me 😰

wizzywig · 05/01/2019 12:08

Ive been on a chat thing for nearly an hour trying to resolve this. Going maaaad. The paddle brush version has gone back up in price

hermionelodge · 05/01/2019 12:18

It's ridiculous! A deal of the day should be just that... it shouldn't be jumping up and down! I managed to get it at the £29.99 but then it employment add to my basket, and now it's jumped back up again! So frustrating

I have no idea where 'employment' came from in my last post! I meant it wouldn't add to my basket. I think my brain is fried with this Confused

Can anyone help me find a suitable one for jaw length, straight hair?

I was going to by the paddle brush one but it seems it's suitable for afro hair and long only (I think).

Hope someone can help as they're a bit expensive to make a mistake!

wizzywig · 05/01/2019 12:35

Exactly hermione. Apparently deal of the day doesnt actually mean 24hrs.

TheNewbieStep · 08/01/2019 18:40

Its arrived at work ready for collection tomorrow!!! Has anybody got there's and had a go???

Pinkvici22 · 08/01/2019 22:01

Mine was delivered today! Will try tomorrow or Thursday!

AllGoodDogs · 08/01/2019 22:15

I have this one and really like it for a "curly blow out" look. It doesn't actually dry the hair but styles it really well.

Tried mine Monday evening and I'm really impressed! I didn't even need to go over my hair with straighteners or anything afterwards. I have shoulder length hair and it dried it in just under 10 minutes!!

That’s great Chicken - I’ll hopefully try mine in the morning

Doonewanker · 09/01/2019 13:16

Tried mine today. I've got shoulder length hair, lots of it but fine and pretty flat on top.

It's dried it really nicely and smoothly. Does same thing as the Babyliss BigHair but easier to manage without the brush whizzing around. I'd buy this over the Big hair every time if anyone is wondering about that.

Don't need to straighten hair now to make it look nice.

No real volume at the front or crown though which doesn't surprise me as I can never achieve that. I need to maybe find some better products or work out how to properly backcomb.

So, in conclusion, a good buy for £30 but, for my hair, not life changing!

DianaPrincessOfThemyscira · 09/01/2019 13:25

I want one of these but I have very curly hair. Does it have good tension? That’s what I need!

Doonewanker · 09/01/2019 13:45

Yes. The bristles hold on to the hair v well and you can pull it and twist it around so that the hair is v tight.

The brush itself is surprisingly huge so that really helps!

MinorProphet · 09/01/2019 14:28

Doone all I want is volume at the crown. Backcombing will do it but can't be doing that every day. Shame this didn't deliver as I'd have bought it in a heartbeat. My hair is thick and fine.

Doonewanker · 09/01/2019 14:50

MinorProphet - I'm going to ask my hairdresser to try and give me the biggest bouffant blow dry next time I'm there and see if even she can manage it. Not actually sure my hair is capable of it.

MinorProphet · 09/01/2019 15:29

Someone has recommended a microcrimper on another thread. Hmmmm....

DianaPrincessOfThemyscira · 09/01/2019 17:38

@MinorProphet I’m pretty sure I’ve got one of these floating about for some reason (volume isn’t something I struggle with!). If you want it you can have it.

MinorProphet · 09/01/2019 18:23

Diana that is very kind, I'll pm you.

Doonewanker · 10/01/2019 14:55

THIS is the volume I want!! Grin

Used mine for the first time today - lovely sleek hair but not much volume until I tipped on half a pot of hair powder and back combed

Kryska · 26/04/2019 13:55

Hello All

Does anyone seen the genuine brush anywhere? Amazon is full of the fake ones but it seems to be impossible to get the real Revlon one Hmm
