No fridge - minimum cooking food needed - help!

Posting here for traffic

Need help to create a shopping list, my fridge has broken down and can't get anyone out to look at it until Thurs / Friday. Apparently, the freezer is still working.

Other relevant info - I am currently bedbound and live alone, I have carers but cooking doesnt come under their remit in the area I live in.

They can heat something in the microwave but can't cook

The calls are maxed 20 mins x 2, (2 are 15 min calls) so needs to be something they can do quickly in a microwave.

So no boiling pasta, pizza in the oven, a ready meal in the oven as I can't get it out when done,

I also need wheat packs warmed in the call time as well as they help a lot with pain levels so that's about 5 mins of microwave time.

I can't face living off sandwiches for the next possible week, I am not able to go and see what is in local shops so am restricted to online.

I plan on doing a grocery shop in ASDA and want to spend around £40.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Tins of soup
Napolina Tuscan bean stew
Napolina red lentil stew
Pouches of Tilda pulses and rice - each pouch is one portion, and they're a meal in themselves.
John West light lunches

You can get pouches of frozen rice to heat up in the microwave. Maybe with a tin of something liked chilli, or chicken korma, to warm on the hob.
I buy ready Chinese meals from Tesco and Sainsbury's, which take 6 mins in the microwave. Rice is included. Things like chicken in black bean sauce, Chinese curry etc.
Egg and bacon/gammon, if they will fry it for you.
Fray Bentos steak and kidney pudding in a tin. Takes four mins in microwave.

Good thinking I hadn't thought of soup and stews. TY

How about a Wiltshire farm foods order. They come quickly. Cook from frozen. It's what most elderly people have heated up for them in short carer visits.

Fray Bentos - is there pastry on those? How does it fare with a microwave? I know not to put the tin in

Egg and bacon - nope it can't be done

Tinned curry and microwave pack of rice could be an option

@Theresahairbrushinthefridge the freezer is full so cant fit them at the minute and have just checked their delivery days in my area.

The next delivery day is next Monday when I hope to have the fridge situation resolved.

Hot dogs/frankfurters (take a few out of the pack, heat in boiling water from kettle, seal pack and stick remaining hot dogs in freezer). Eat with nice soft buns + relish of your choice.

The Nong-shim Oolongmen instant noodle soup cups (chicken or beef) are really rather good and clean tasting unlike Pot Noodle (I get mine from Tesco).

I also love tinned tuna with pasta but I know it's not for everyone.

Thanks all for your help. Just after I posted one of my friends offered to make dinner for the evening (when doing her own) and drop it in. Sandwich for lunch and cereal for breakfast.

Fridge repairman is hoping to come tomorrow, I live outside his usual area but for a fee, he will come here. He usually covers a 5 miles area around his business which is city based. I am in the back end of nowhere definitely not city based.
