Yes you can (CofE), however in our local church you have to answer questions re your first marriage.. why it failed etc. So... we decided not to put my Hubbie in that position answering those questions. So we went civil

My friend married her divorced other half in church (CofE) because the vicar was happy to marry them.
Down to the vicar.

I got married in a church second time round, first was in a registry office. Vicar didn't ask me any questions about it at all - mind you, he was a divorcee himself, so not in any position to cast judgement! Grin
