That maybe look nice into the bargain? Looking for one for a Christmas present.

I like the ecoffee cups -ecoffeecup.eco/shop/ - some of the design led ones are lovely and i like that they do a smaller size as i prefer a one cup sort of coffee rather than the larger sizes, but they do do both. Reasonably priced as well.
Otherwise TKMAXX usually have loads online and in store and some good offers on the branded ones - Bodum etc.

Contigo all the way! Leak proof and keep drinks v hot

IncyWincyGrownUp · 29/11/2018 00:12

Most of mine are from Starbucks. I have one contigo one which is a backup one for emergencies.

A good stainless steel mug is a must for me, as it can take me hours to drink a coffee when I’m pottering about.

I like the flask type ones, they keep drinks hot and are leak proof.

TweetleBeetlesBattle · 29/11/2018 00:17

Camel bak. Keeps my coffee hotter for far longer than my contigo, leak proof. Horrendously expensive but pays for itself with coffee being hot for hours after you've left home.

Mines anEdel Hoff one.Bodum ones are 10.99on Amazon at the moment.

Another cute for contigo. Read a recommendation on here and a couple of people who have seen ours have bought their own. You can have it in the bottom of a bag upside down and it won't leak.

Tefal grande travel mug - leakproof and keeps the water hot for hours. Nice to drink from as well.

CocoLoco87 · 29/11/2018 00:28

Yep 2 contigos in our house!

NannyR · 29/11/2018 00:32

I agree that the contigo is completely leakproof and keeps your coffee piping hot for ages but I really don't like the lid on mine - even after throrough washing, soaking, dismantling etc it still retains a plasticy, stale-ish coffee taste, which really affects the taste of what I'm drinking. So I end up taking the lid off and drinking directly from the breaker, which means it's not really a travel mug, fine for things like taking a coffee to the cinema, but not so much for drinking on the go.

Tweetle, what camelbac do you have?

BarbaraofSevillle · 29/11/2018 06:27

Can I ask what people do to clean their cups while out and about? I might leave home with a coffee, drink it and then want to buy another. Also if there are any issues with the cups being too tall?

Up to now, I've been rinsing it in the toilets of whatever shop/cafe etc I am buying the coffee from, but I'm wondering if I can ask at the counter?

I have a contigo, which is great, but I find that it doesn't fit easily under the self service Costa or Waitrose ones and I've not used it yet in Costa/Starbucks type places - I find them confusing and intimidating enough without any cup issues - I'm such a wimp. Mine seems to have loads of space for a medium/regular coffee, but I'm also worried that it's slightly too small for a large one.

Contigo!
