Hi all, so every year I’m stressing out as to what to buy hubby for Xmas. Anyone have any ideas?

For reference, he’s a penny pincher and knows exactly how much things cost and has said he’d be annoyed if I got him a gift that’s too expensive!! Doesn’t like alcohol, restaurants, experience days particularly, not a big foodie fan. Buys his own clothes, underwear, allergic to smellies (sensitive skin) already has dressing gown, slippers etc etc etc. He’s 33.

He says he’s got enough books, man toys etc, tends to love picking up bargains from charity shops but has a better eye than me...

Argh!!! Confused

For people who find food too expensive. Or scarce.

Why not get him a personalised calander with pictures or a personalised phone cover. Generally not to expensive and builds a nice memory

Ask him for a list of things he'd like.

Nesoresso machine? My penny pinching DH loves it

A rocketbook?

It's a reusable notebook. You have to use a certain type of pen, but once it's full you can wipe it clean in the microwave. Beforehand, you use the app to scan any pages you'd like to save onto your phone / computer. You can also set it up to file different pages of notes in the correct folder too. My thrifty OH likes his for work and it often gets comments

Thanks for the ideas all, sweets and photos from throughout the year are definately something to consider :-)

I'd get him nothing but a personalised, handwritten (possibly handmade) card. He's said already not to worry about it so take him at his word. I hate that Christmas has become so commercialised that we feel we've got it wrong if we don't buy a load of gifts that more often than not end up unused, regifted or in landfill.

I agree - don't buy stuff he won't want. You could write in a card reasons why you love him, make a massage voucher or a voucher for babysitting while he goes out for an evening, or similar. Could also wrap up something fun you have in the house like a book he's meant to read and never got round to, or a game he never got round to playing, with explicit permission to chill and have fun with it.
