Coffee beans in eco packaging?

My old capsule coffee machine has died which I am secretly happy about as it means I can go Bean to Cup. Does anyone know where I can get coffee beans in packaging that can be recycled or composted? Thanks in advance.

The reason that its generally in foil-lined bags is to keep it fresh for longer, as it starts to go off as soon as its open.
The only real way to do eco-friendly coffee beans is to get it fresh straight from the roaster in small paper bags.

I used to get beans ground for me from the Whittards shop, it was in waxed paper bags which I assume might have been compostable? This was years ago though.

They still have an online shop! This was my favourite. You can always email them.

You can take your own reusable container to somewhere like Whittard I'm sure. I second Guatemala Elephant coffee, it delicious.
