Proud owner of my first ever bath mat, how often do they need washing?

Just that really, daily, weekly, biweekly or just whenever remembered? Does it need washing less if you hang it on radiator to dry at night after use? Very excited to actually have one now so no more wet bathroom floor so done want to mess it up

Mine gets done about once a month, but no regime - just when it looks grubby.
Although since we got the puppy it gets done whenever I shower him as he tends to rub himself dry on it.

One in the man bathroom which the kids use is pretty infrequent.

that thing in the bath - once a month or so together with towels.
that thing in front of the bath - once a week together with the (matching) piss mats.

When it looks like it needs it. Less than once a month I'd have thought. I mean, you only stand on it as you get out the bath or shower - when you are clean.
