Help needed - Pictures of Electricity Pylons for autistic son.

My autistic son is fascinated by electricity pylons. He wants one for Christmas!!! I've got him some models to build but I'm also trying to put together a photo book of pictures of pylons. If anyone lives near some pylons or is out and about and willing to take some photos I would really apprecate some extra pictures.
I've got lots from my area but a wider variety would be great - any overseas ones would also be appreciated.

I go past some when I am out and about for work. There is a great substation but there is no where that is safe to pull over, but I can get some pylons. A few have nice views behind them.

Do you still need any? I have a friend who is a photographer and has some pics, I could ask him if he's happy for you to have some?

My son also has autism and learning disabilities and is currently obsessed with traffic lights. Him and his brother are currently making a book of all the traffic lights he's printed out at school.

Have you tried writing to the National Grid, your local energy suppliers, RIBA, other similar industry bodies to do with electricity? They might well send you something they have sitting round the office...

Thank you for all the photos I have had so far, a few few more and I will have enough for the book.

As a suggestion, how about getting one made into a puzzle?

Have you contacted Balfour Beatty? They erect pylons all over the world, and I can't really go into detail because it would be very outing, but they've been a really kind and helpful company to me before. Good luck!

Oh there are a chain of them which I can see from work, crossing fields with forests in the distance. I always thought they spoilt the view - there's a reason to take a photo of it now. Will send you a photo tomorrow afternoon, hopefully with a nice sunset to set them off...

Saw this thread when it was first posted, and imagined someone would know there are pylon appreciation societies around (I'm not a pylonista myself, but other hobbies I have seem to have a nexus).

There’s a record by a 90s band called “Three Colours Red” that has a repeating pylon image on the record front.

It’s called “Beautiful Day” and you’d probably manage to find a poster on eBay or something
