The advert shows a lady walking her pug all happy as Larry.

Brilliant

However please be aware that diclofnac is toxic to dogs. If you have rubbed it anywhere on your body, make sure your dogs don’t get a chance to lick it off

Thanks - I don't often use it but will keep this in mind.

Thanks for this info. I sometimes use it and whilst I can't imagine my dog licking my back, I'll be vigilant now about washing hands straight away.

And cats, presumably? One of mine is a 'Heuschrecke arm licker' Blush, but I'd never let him near anything like that anywhere on my body.

Pollaidh · 24/11/2018 15:24

Equally if you have any drugs that are sugar coated, dogs will eat them if left anywhere they can access. I know someone whose dog swallowed a load of painkillers, packet, foil and all.

I suppose cats too yes.

People are more aware of tablets but don’t think about things like creams as once it’s in the skin, they forget about it

Yes, a good point about cats, especially if you have a licky cat.
