If you've seen old photos of your OH, what did you think?

Did it affect how you view them now?

I'm in a new relationship. He's handsome . We recently became FB friends and of course I had a look at his profile and there is a photo of him taken about 8 years ago and he was beautiful. I mean, I really fancy him how he is now but I absolutely would have fancied him if I'd met him sooner!

OTOH I was shown a photo of an ex when he was younger and he just looked like a thug. It put me right off him. Rightly so as it turned out as he still was one.

I met exDP when we were 20 - he was all long hair and beard and tattoos (still is at 32, the absolute bastard gets better with age ) His best friend showed me a photo of him at 18...

i met him when he was 23 so i know exactly wwhat he was like and we have grown up together

My DH was 36 when we met. Like others on here, there's an age gap.

He was an ADORABLE child. In fact I keep a photo of him MIL gave me from when he was about 8 by my bed because he was sooooooo sweeeeeet.

Hideous in his 20s (the beard!). Glad he moved on from that before i met him.

It was his brain I fell in love with anyway. Although the green eyes helped....

The only photo I've seen of my dc is one where he's dressed as a woman for some charity event so it didn't really alter how I see him!

I am 43 and met my fiancé two years ago. He is gorgeous and he was gorgeous when he was younger!

I was at school with DH so not really a surprise but if I'm really honest they are a bit laughable - he was totally into the early 00s trend of bleached blond hair spiked up, baggy jeans and shirts with dragons and/or flames on them

Plus he was absolutely tiny. I didn't start to think he was cute until after we left school.

But him as a child is adorable and it helps that DS2 is absolutely his image.
