So last Sunday I went to London for the Singing Hands Christmas Singalong show and I will see the Singing Hands ladies again 2 weeks time but last Sunday was real special I have an reason to tell you why? They have an special guest and I knew who is the special guest and he all knew about me!!!!! Shall I tell you who???? It’s is DAVE BENSON PHILLIPS!!!!!!!!!!! He is my hero an real hero to me and other people but since the ladies told him about me coming to see him and the show he was like he realised it was me as I remember I was watching him on live video and he was chatting lots of people was commenting and I was one of those I wrote to ask Dave please can you sign my name WILFRED to me and guess what? He signed to me he said hello Wilfred using W sign letter to me which got me all excited and happy and I told the ladies and I went to see the Singing Hands summer show one of the ladies told me that Dave is coming down for Xmas show my reaction was like omgosh I was so excited shaking I couldn’t believe it and I had to tell my mum by FaceTime her with one of the ladies with me telling her and that she had to come and when the tickets was selling I was so lucky that I got the tickets so me and my mum sit in front so we can see Dave in front and that was last Sunday when I arrived there with my friends I was excited nervous and shaking and on my way there I saw Dave I was like omgosh I was nearly fainted when I saw him we did chatted for an bit and we has cuddles too! When my mum came we sit enjoying the show the best moment when Dave came on the stage it got me really excited hyper shouting and poor my mumma kept shushing me which I couldn’t control with my excitement!!!! I was bit shy when Dave signs he watch me which he said it okay and he was so great and amazing and he took his time also he an real hero to me as when I was little boy as toddler I was age about 2 or 3 since of my deafness I has difficulties communicating until one of the special ladies services told my mum about his video was Makaton Nursery Rhymes and when we got it I watched I was fantasied with his signing and I copied his signing and it make me feel better and happy with my signing and it was Dave that I wanted to said thanks as without of his help I wouldn’t communicate with my family or other people he was an real hero and an special friend to me! Also I was lucky as I brought my Makaton Nursery Rhymes DVD and the Playdays annual book and he signed them for me! Also my favourite thing about him is his signing of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star which was my all time favourite song and I always copied his signing and I was signing along with him too! It made my day special and memorable too also I went on the stage with him we was doing the Christmas dinner song I stood next to Dave I hold my arms under his arm so I know I am safe with him due of my dyspraxia and my balance can be clumsy that why I felt safe with him and we was laughing together when we doing the Christmas dinner sign of GRAVY and we was gobbling up our Christmas dinner pretend to use our plate and spoon to gobbling up and Dave was like omg that I nearly ate all of the dinner and I was laughing as I was feeding him and it’s made me laughing lots with excitement!!!! He an real hero to me as I know I learnt my signing from Dave first because of his video and dvd that came in 90s time before Mr Tumble came on 2004 I do like them both and they was my favourite but if I have one it will be Dave as he helped me first and he was amazing kind and taking his time really well with me!
