Best way to tech daughter to act. Large group or small lamada tuition?

My oldest daughter has dabbled in local acting group, large she has two lines... Everyone jostling on stage.

But it's a professional stage.

The other group was stage school and they seemed more keen on rewarding students who had been there the longest, rather than talent. Ie I don't have think students would get roles unless they had earned them.
I'm also not sure what they learn there.

Lots of dancing, singing and acting but what was dd actually learning.

Dd has beautiful voice and I think the way drama teaches you to be aware of yourself, how you stand etc is important.

What will actually develop her the most. Maybe I need a teacher who I just does lamda exams?

Is she thinking of performance as a career? If so, I think my dd (currently at adult drama school, has had her first professional job) would say:

try lots of different things

don't worry about whether you're getting the big parts

an awful lot of acting is about working well in an ensemble

treat everything as a learning opportunity

By the time dd got to do her first proper drama school audition she had:

played countless tiny parts (including part of the bannister of a staircase) for her youth theatre group

played some rather better parts for her youth theatre

done filming for a local amateur film group

played various parts for 2 adult am-dram groups

done outdoor performances at fairs

modelled for friends who were learning portrait photography

done a BTEC in acting

attended a residential short course in acting

read lots and lots and LOTS of plays, both modern and classical
