Worth getting one?

Any recommendations?

There are so many to choose from...

I don't know if this is what you mean but we had a jumperoo for DS2 and it was worth it's weight in gold because he would spend ages in it very happily while we got on with making meals, tidying. It had a really large footprint though, so takes up a lot of space, but totally worth it for us. The one we had didn't exactly fold away, but it collapsed so you could move it to another room.

Shock at price, but my parents bought one for us on sale. I'd buy one anyway because it saved my sanity!

We got one from Aldi for £20, 2 years and 2 babies later and it's still immaculate

I just got a basic chair one rather than all dancing and singing one. Very handy. Somewhere to put baby that is safe whilst you get on. But they can still see you. Mine was around £10 and was a bright stripy thing.

We really don't recommend door bouncers or jumparoos for long amounts of time because babies end up not being able to bear their own weight and end up down in their gross motor development. Most 9 monthers who are down in gross motor or even just their development in general we ask 'do you have a jumparoo' and the answer is always 'yes! They love it!'

They are of course fine for short bursts of time here and there while you need both hands and just remember to make sure your baby gets lots of opportunities for floor play to develop those muscles! X
