Sad things! What (non-real life) thing has made you cry recently? Songs, Books, films etc.

I have a heart of stone and had never cried anything that wasn't real ever in my life: no sad songs, books, films or anything, though I did come close with the Dumbo "Baby Mine" song! (I rarely find comedies funny or scary things scary either)

But this weekend my DD showed me a video (below) by a musician she liked and it really affected me. I watched it again last night and sobbed for ages. It's animated animals FGS!
What has made you cry recently?

Perhaps crying at the wasted hours and wasted money watching it would be quite reasonable!

😂😂😂

It's true, there's something about Fernando. I used to cry when it came on the radio when I was a child and it was a current song!

Just been having a good old cry watching Call the Midwife, I love this show but its heart rending sometimes

I've cried at a few films this years; ones I remember were 'Coco' and also an independent film called 'The Rider' which is about an injured rodeo rider and his relationship with his father (among other things). It was extremely affecting and I cried loads. Oh I also saw a film recently called Blindspotting about race relations in Oakland, California, that was very sad in parts. But then again I'm always crying at films so maybe I'm not a good test for this!

There's a short film going around at the moment by Phil Beastall. It's apparently going viral and I can see why.

It's beautiful, sad and even had my DH tearful.

I just discovered, and binge watched the Sky series 'Stella' and ugly cried through the entire last episode. Could not pull myself together lol

'This is me' from Greatest Showman

I binged call the midwife on Netflix and was in bits most episodes. I still feel a bit wobbly when I think about Susan. Don't want to spoil by saying who she is but I was a mess.

It was good to get it all out as I'm cold as ice most of the time.

A Star is Born and I didn't even like it that much.
