May needs to finish the job, anything else would be an even bigger disaster.

This is madness! Arguing about Brexit whilst we choke future generations and ourselves on our unsustainable consumption.

TSSDNCOP · 18/11/2018 12:54

Bartlett, Santos...

But really May. We have come this far and the rest of the cowards haven't got what it takes to hold her coat.

CatFem · 18/11/2018 12:55

Corbyn

WeeMadArthur · 18/11/2018 12:56

May, and I’m not a Tory, but she was the only one with the guts to step up and try to take Brexit forwards (am also a Remainer!). I am completely disgusted at the way the senior men in the Tory party ran off and left her to it, I don’t believe that they should ever get the chance to be PM after this ( Boris and Gove specifically). I think Cameron should have had the balls to see through the referendum decision, since he was the one to support the referendum in the first place.

She has been royally shafted and must be very bitter about this.

Talk about Hobson's choice!

Teresa May. I admire her for stepping up to take on what must be the worst and most thankless task in politics for a very long time, when the bastards who caused it all slipped away (Cameron, Johnson). I don;'t really believe anyone could have got a better deal, when in reality Britain held an obviously weak hand. Maintaining the European Union by seeing off any other nationalistic ambitions in other countries was always going to be a bigger goal of the EU than giving us a good deal.

I certainly don't want any of the numpties in charge who still cling to the delusion that we are really important to the EU and could get a better deal if only we held our nerve. That's just delusional.
