Where can I get school uniform trousers in store now?

To be fair I’ve only been in Tesco (can you believe that they only stock uniform at back to school time?) but want to avoid shlepping round too many other shops with DS in tow as I’m 39 weeks pg.

Nearby I have Matalan and sainbos, but could travel further afield if need be.

I need to go in store ideally rather than on line as I need ds to try on. He’s outgrown the ones we bought at the beginning of this term, but the next size up from the same shop (Asda) that we already have are massive!

zoflorabore that’s going to be my DS too - just turned 6 and size 2.5 feet.

M&S on line has been my go - to for years.

I think ds is going to have big feet too - he’s 11.5 now at 4, dh is a 13.
It’s bad enough trying to find shops that go up to a 13 for dh, I feel for you with your ds Zoflora!

And I’m going to try Matalan today for trousers. There is a soft play nearby so may treat ds to a visit there at the same time. I feel sorry for him we haven’t done anything very exciting this weekend so far as I’m terrified of being too far from home in case I go into labour!

Sainsbury's stuff is online and you can order and have delivered to your local store (so you just need to pop in rather than drag a kid around). You can tell that I do that!! The trousers with reinforced knees are still looking great and my 3yo has been in them since September.

Matalan is great too. Not bought their school uniform but we do by their boys clothes from there and it lasts very well for a very reasonable price. Their boys coats are excellent.

Were your polo shirts from tesco? Mine went grey for no reason too. Now I buy Next ones and they stay white.

I did a bulk on line shop from there in preparation for starting school. Wish I hadn’t bothered, the quality has not been great.
