Do you know when you just run out of ideas. Seem to be having the same dishes week in week out. I've looked at books but nothing has grabbed my attention as yet.

I don't fancy take away.

So feel free to come and tell me what you are making and inspire me 😁

Melon and raspberries for afters.

The two carnivores are having steak, chips and peas (M&S deal), and I'm having a mushroom omelette with chips and peas.

Very kind Gin but it's completely self inflicted, I had 3 glasses of wine last night which is far too much for me, so I don't really deserve any symathy.
I'm glad you started this thread though as I'm getting ideas for next week.

I've got a couple of beef burgers that I need to use up, so I'm planning burgers with fried onions, mushrooms and mustard in baps, with some chips on the side. Hoping my husband will actually cook everything tonight!

So we had planned an early up to our room and wrap night - dh suggested we order Chinese and sneak it upstairs!!

What's a wrap night and won't they smell it ????

Home made burgers, McCain made chips and devils food baked beans for the rest of them, salad for me :)

Steak, chips, peas, mushrooms and blue cheese sauce

Cold pasta tossed in sweet chilli sauce with shredded chicken in a wee bit of taco sauce with a side salad and grated cheese on the pasta. Heaven.

Open steak sandwich, stir fry onions and peppers, ass thinly sliced steak, serve on top of warmed ciabatta cut in have and spread with horseradish and serve with watercress or rocket.

Sausages, with mashed turnip and carrot, mashed potatoes , garlic mushrooms and gravy. We might also be having slow cooker roast potatoes if they turn out ok

Pork Chops

French onion soup with gruyere croutons

Slow cooked leg of lamb in a garlic, thyme and tomato sauce with dauphinois potatoes and green beans

Sticky toffee pudding and vanilla ice cream

Leftover lamb will be reheated in Monday with a splash of chilli sauce and eaten in pittas with loads of toppings as posh kebabs - very excited about that meal too

Cheese Souffle with crusty bread and salad. Peanut M+Ms for pudding.

Spag bol and dough balls

Cheese and biscuits. Am just back from Israel and have smuggled some goats cheese back. Supplemented with some extra from St Pancras and red wine.
