Because I won’t let her lick the window. It’s going to be a long day.

My DS is 13 and he is not speaking to me because I wouldn’t let him eat prawn crackers for breakfast!

Peopleplease · 17/11/2018 11:54

beamur Home. She was looking out at the leaves and I realised she was licking it. She was VERY annoyed that I stopped her!

Pick your battles, it's your window, could be worse..

TeachesOfPeaches · 17/11/2018 12:09

I let my almost 3 year old lick windows. At least he isn't whining.

Sisgal · 17/11/2018 12:10

My two year old keeps trying to lick the cat. Tbh as long as she’s quiet I’m fine with it.

2 year old DD was licking the living room walls the other day.
She went through a stage of licking a certain stone wall outside whenever we passed it

Howling!

Peopleplease · 17/11/2018 12:26

The window is covered in the dogs nose prints because he likes looking out too. Otherwise I’d be fine with it!

Most cats are pretty good at handling this stuff themselves so good decision Grin

DS2 used to lick windows all the bloody time as a kid!

My 2 year old was screaming for ages this morning because I wouldn't let him take his shoes off (temperature is in single figures) and throw them in a lake.

TwllBach · 17/11/2018 13:06

My 2 year old has been low level poorly this week and refusing to eat properly (and sleep properly.) This morning I decided that, in order to get him to eat some porridge for breakfast I would put 4 m and ms in it.

Me: "Would you like porridge for breakfast?"
DS: "Yes please"
Me: "Would you like chocolate in your porridge?"
DS: "YES PLEEEEEASE"

He watched me the put the chocolate in the porridge and did his little excited dance. He scurried off to sit down and I lovingly placed the porridge in front of him...

He screamed, cried real tears and refused to eat the bastard stuff.

I've come to work and left DP dealing with him.

This post has really helped my mood! My 2 year old has pressed every one of my buttons in the past 24 hours!
