You need to be seen OP

HeyThoughIWalk · 16/11/2018 19:30

Why did you discharge yourself from hospital? Did they want to keep you in longer?

How do you know what the heartbeat is like now?

You really need to get proper medical advice, ie phone your midwife now.

If your baby hasn't moved today you MUST go to the hospital. Now.

How do you know the heartbeat is strong?

AssassinatedBeauty · 16/11/2018 19:34

You must get checked out as soon as possible. A lack of movement should always be investigated. My DS2 had to be delivered by EMCS at 37 + 4 because he had stopped moving. Any longer and he wouldn't have made it.

TeddyIsaHe · 16/11/2018 19:35

Please tell me you’re not using an at home doppler, you have no idea if that is baby’s heartbeat if you are.

Don’t risk your child’s life. Go into hospital now and get checked.

Worieddd · 16/11/2018 19:36

Please go and get seen now.

AnotherOriginalUsername · 16/11/2018 19:37

If someone collapsed in the street, you wouldn't check their pulse and leave them to it - phone triage immediately

SoyDora · 16/11/2018 19:40

Why did you discharge yourself?
Of course you need to be seen if your baby isn’t moving.

CharChar94 · 16/11/2018 19:42

i discharged myself because they transferred me somewhere else and it was getting hard for my partner to come and visit when he got kids and they send i wasn't in labour, i know her heartbeat strong because i had it checked morning by MW (sorry i forgot to say that) MW dont seem worried she saying it because there no room but i dont know

Have you felt movements at all since this morning?

CharChar94 · 16/11/2018 19:45

not yet my partner saying she could be asleep or it could be cause i worrying she hasn't

AssassinatedBeauty · 16/11/2018 19:46

If you haven't felt any movement of any kind since this morning please please get checked out. That's not normal and babies don't sleep for that length of time.

Aozora13 · 16/11/2018 19:47

When I got checked out for reduced movement a few weeks ago (at 37 weeks) they told me that it’s a myth that babies move less when they have less room - the movements might change but they should move the same amount (if that makes sense). They also told me to come back any time I felt reduced movements. If I were you I’d go and get checked to be on the safe side

EyeDrops · 16/11/2018 19:48

Movements change, they shouldn't reduce. Please ring triage or get yourself in now.

SoyDora · 16/11/2018 19:50

Babies don’t stop moving because you’re worrying.
Go and chat checked.

SoyDora · 16/11/2018 19:50

*get

Smurf123 · 16/11/2018 19:51

Get checked out and babies do not run out of room that's a myth! And on every Tommys movements poster at my hospital!

CharChar94 · 16/11/2018 19:52

okay thank you i will do

Please do, OP. I hope you're on your way there now. Let us know how you get on.
