There’s nothing I can do about these dogs, is there?

Neighbour opposite has recently acquired two Rottweilers. They have the run of the garden/side of the house looking out on to the road, opposite my parking space. They’re contained by a waist height fence, which they jump up onto and growl (teeth bared) at anyone who passes - it is horrible to come home to in the dark and then scuttle indoors hoping they haven’t jumped it. There’s nothing I can do about this until they actually escape, is there?

Fully expect a flaming for dog dissent...

I did actually report someone whose dog kept doing this as they were clearly unhappy. She also kept the dog locked in the house for hours though so not sure whether that was the reason RSPCA took action.

It sounds like the dogs are not securely contained and are aggressive. Start with your local council and find out how to contact the dog warden, report them as aggressive dogs.
If they jump the fence call the police.

Thank you both, I will try the dog warden and RSPCA. I don’t think they should lose the dogs (although they could definitely do with being walked more than once a week...) just worried what would happen if they got out, which seems likely...
