If someone is attacked, be it punched, stabbed etc.. why does my brain think the punishment should be much worse if someone does it to someone whose back is turned?
Logically the action is not any more deadly or necessarily cause more injuries, or does it?
My daughter was punched in the head by a stranger from behind and it seemed so much worse because she didn't know it was about to happen, but then if you were punched from the front by a stranger with no previous interaction you would not be expecting it any more!
Am just reading a news article about someone being stabbed and it was in the back and my reaction was that it was worse for being in the back.
Does everyone react/feel like this or is it just me?
And if it's just me can you explain why my brain thinks like this because it's not just a new thing since my daughters attack.
