Oooops, gave DH a fright last night- a warning to lucid dreamers!

DD and I were talking about lucid dreams yesterday. Every time we do this, I then have a lucid dream that night. During last night’s lucid dream, I decided to try to talk. I tried and tired and tried, only I couldn’t form any words. So I tried really hard. It was very frustrating.

I was then vaguely aware of being moved and figured it was DH so I rolled over in my sleep and pondered the difficulty of talking during a dream.

This morning DH told me I was letting out blood curdling screams so loud that he was convinced that not one but many people were trying to murder me in my nightmare. He was trying to comfort me while I was busy pondering. Blush

So lucid dreamers- don’t try to speak during your dream. Grin

@WickedGoodDoge Iv had many dreams and smacked my DH in my sleep when I dream of him cheating or leaving me 😂 sometime I really hurt him and get the cold shoulder all day!

I have lucid dreams but don't move a muscle during them. DH never knows he's dreaming but acts them out regularly. I've been attacked, shouted at, serenaded, seduced, criticised, chased. It's exhausting.

This is so funny I am crying.

Sounds like an interesting night for him!

I would have sworn I was just muttering gobbledygook. Blush

Oh that’s hilarious 😂

Once, when I was still living at home, my parents came running into my room in the middle of the night and put the light on, waking me instantly.

Asked them wtf they were doing and apparently I had been screaming one long bloodcurdling scream in my sleep! I had no idea 😂

I have a lot of lucid dreams, but AFAIK I don’t move during them.

I've given partners bruises and injuries from fighting in my sleep before. Almost broke my foot kicking the wall so hard during one too! Have apparently had various conversations with people whilst still asleep too, and have no recollections of them on waking!

My dh does this a lot. More often than not it's "noooooooooooooooooooooooo" he yells at the top of his lungs, scares the crap out of me and dd2
