Student bank account with £2000 overdraft no longer a student

So I have a student bank account open and £2000 overdraft on it (took it out when I could afford it) now I'm no longer a student and haven't been for a year. Can the bank charge me with fraud? Or just change it now and hope no questions are asked?

Thanks in advance

Are you still overdrawn? Are you working now?

I had my student account, complete with overdraft for about 9 years after I graduated 🤣 why would they charge you with fraud?people drop out of uni all the time.

The banks only do it because they know you can’t pay it off so you’ll be indebted to them forever. They don’t care what you do

I think I had a set period to pay mine back. Read the ts and cs.

They won't charge you with fraud or anything but be aware that most student bank accounts are only valid for the original duration of your course. So if you haven't been a student for a year, and for example you only studied for a year, most banks will only give you another year before they convert it into a graduate or standard account and at that point will usually reduce your overdraft and/or start charging you fees for it

Read the terms and conditions, DS's account gave him a £1500 overdraft that is interest free, but only until the end of his course when they will start charging interest on any outstanding balance. He then needs to change to standard account. It's not fraud but they should probably be charging you so you may get a bigger charge if they realise.
