Does anyone here use a mobility scooter? I need help finding a pair of gloves...

For the girls' nanna.

She wants to still be able to feel the controls for her scooter, but still have warm hands. & she tends to put her finger nails through woolly ones so they're no good.

Any suggestions (preferably not too pricey either :) ).

Maybe look at horse riding gloves as they’re designed so you can feel the reins

Have a look at Sealskinz gloves. Good for winter riding so should do the job.

Yes riding gloves, sealskins or roe kl both very warm

You can get a furry pouch that goes over the controls and you put your hands inside

Thank you all very much. Riding gloves or a muff type thing would never have crossed my mind! I suggested driving gloves may be worth a look but no idea really since I don't drive!

Silk glove liners are a good shout too. They are very thin, so don't affect your dexterity, but really add to the warmth of your outer gloves.

Thank you Spudlet I've never heard of glove liners so we'll have a look at some together tomorrow, they sound like a good idea.

Echo Sealskinz!

These are designed for motorbikes but connect to the battery so don't see why they couldn't be used on a mobility scooter?
