Is anyone else suddenly feeling very low in mood?

Or is it just me?

I was 'normal' last week. This week (clocks changed?) I feel like utter shit.

It's come from nowhere.

I take spatone iron supplement daily. Had my over 40s health check (including bloods) done 3 weeks ago. Nothing flagged up.

Urgh. Anyone else?

Okay thank you 😊

dementedma · 03/11/2018 08:39

micheleebr I would say it's unlikely. DD's life is totally controlled by depression and anxiety and just getting her to her pip assessment was a major challenge. she didn't get any

Well I went to bed super early last night. Fell asleep quite quickly and after a blast in the shower this morning I do feel better and brighter and not so low in mood.
On my multi bits and have just ordered some bumper vit d.
I'm so glad it's not just me. Was starting to get paranoid

Insert that Titanic meme "it's been 84 years"

JustWhatINeededNow · 03/11/2018 13:18

 at 84 years!

I've just done a run and have asked DH to grab some vitamin D so things are looking up!

Im feeling pretty low as well.

Where can i buy vit d?

thenewaveragebear1983 · 03/11/2018 15:33

Me too, I think it’s the clocks changing (it only seems to affect me in this house), the cold, plus I’ve had a trapped nerve in my arm this week which had made me miserable and I now have a rotten cold too. I think because this year the summer seemed to go on forever (we were sunbathing on 5th October on a cruise in Belgium!) and then suddenly it’s gone dark and cold, it’s hit me worse. It manifests itself as a tired, blue feeling, and an insatiable appetite for carbs.

Definitely going to get some vit D!

fuckedoffwithlife · 03/11/2018 15:54

Yes the need for carbs here is massive aswel. Something to do with the body needing extra fuel when temp drops quickly apparently.
Not sure if that's true but I'm after chocolate crisps bread of mist descriptions cheese bagels and anything that generally looks beige

Driving me mad. I think I've put on my winter coat(fat) just this last week to be honest.
Never have I spent so long trying to persuade dh takeaways good for you and can we please eat it in bed 😳

AGHHHH · 03/11/2018 16:22

@blackheartsgirl Holland & Barrett, Boots, Amazon etc. Pretty much any shop that also sells vitamins and supplements. :)

PrincessDando · 03/11/2018 17:38

Yes, but I am trying to cope with a crap situation in my life so it's entirely understandable / explainable.

The hard part is getting it out of my mind... it's always there from the minute I wake up until the minute I go to bed which is very draining.
