Pigeon rescue- will the vets charge me?!

Took a poorly looking pigeon to the vets today.
Had to fill in a few forms, and they asked me to ring tomorrow for an update and to maybe set him free.

Will I have to pay for this pigeons treatment ?! Stupidly didn't cross my mind to ask.

I am bird mad and longing to nurse any recovering ones if anyone ever needs me! We did have an injured buzzard this year but so sadly pts as it’s eye had filled with blood so it wouldnt have been able to hunt again.

I am longing for a robin or anything I can help!

@Shitlandpony

I am in love with those cushions. May I ask where you got them?
