I've broken the till in McColl's with my prepayment key! Staff are on hold to the company - the money has left my account but isn't on the electric key... And the whole till is frozen!

Just me having a bad day?

I am mid arthritic flare up and can barely walk. DP is working away and won't be able to come home this weekend. So it's me and 3 kids (one a disabled baby) for the next 10 days. Usually MIL will help out when I am poorly but she is away next week.

Painkillers and medication are doing fuck all. Thank God the older kids have school..... It's just getting them there and back that is the trouble.

@Crunchymum Have you tried Slow Release Morphine Patches on prescription? They are amazzzzzzing and are the reason I'm walking. As they're slow release you don't feel under the influence of morphine and can drive etc. Pain is just gone!

They also work within a few hours. So the day you get a prescription you'll get relief

I'm seeing consultant soon so I'll be seeking new pain options.

I have to be able to walk.

Thanks for the suggestion!!

Also in hospital, doctors can't figure out what's wrong with me but helpfully said it has to be something atypical because it's so unusual to see someone my age so ill. I know there were shadows on my lungs on the CT scan and pneumonia is the least bad thing that can come from that.

MN has saved my sanity today being in a room alone but I really miss my DD.
