Some biological washing powder and water, and heat on the hob until it comes off.

Coke?

Haberpop · 29/10/2018 16:53

Biological washing powder, water and leave to soak always works for me.

Finfintytint · 29/10/2018 16:54

Try boiling up a pan of water and add bicarbonate soda to it. It should lift most of it.
(Ive chipped the coating on mine this week after 24 years of keeping it spick and span).

Soak it, and keep soaking it. I have had Le Creuset looking like that and it has recovered. Took several days of soaking and water changes, and a fish slice to shift the soaked off stuff. I have even resorted to some sort of Mr Muscle type product as a last resort, rather than bin the pot. It has always come right in the end with time.

Use the le creuset cream cleaner - it will take that off without damaging it. I wouldn’t recommend using washer powder in case it damaged the enamel surface.

Bicarb and vinegar. Look online - you heat it gently, then leave it. I had one which went completely black through me burning some sugary fruit in. It doesn't exactly look like new but it is perfectly functional again!

Like others say, bio washing powder gently heated and scraped with a wooden spatula. Might take a few rounds, but it should come good.

Sterilising tablet and hot water and leave to soak

Nearly all of mine end up looking like that because it's impossible to cook and watch YouTube at the same time (thanks kids) so, like, it just happens so why are you making such a big deal out of it again? Ooooh my Gooooood you need to chill out blah blah

I use 0000 grade wire wool with a drop of fairy liquid on it, no water at first then add a bit (warm). Can take a few minutes but it's quite satisfying to bring it back to life (again). I am apparently pansexual according to my eldest DD.

Thanks folks I'm trying bicarb and vinegar tonight as I have that in and I'll get some bio powder tomorrow and give that a go, I'd tried bold liquid this morning but that did bugger all.
