DS is 1 and since he's been born I've felt crap.
I've got ulna compression to both wrists. My knees and foot arches hurt alot. I can hardly eat anything without nausea and diarrhoea. I get hiccups alot. I feel fatigued and like I'm in a dream world.
He's always been a good sleeper but he's getting very active and I'm exhausted. it puts me off having another

also one glass of prosecco and I'm pissed seriously.

Have you tried a course of ibuprofen for your wrists?
I had terrible wrist problems in my last pregnancy and beyond, and my dr prescribed a 2 week course of strong (the big pink ones) ibuprofen which sorted it right out. It might help your knees and feet too.

Can’t help with everything else, but good luck, feel better soon Flowers

FurryAndObnoxious · 29/10/2018 14:16

Thanks I take it adhoc maybe I need to get on it properly. I'm full of Imodium and paracetomol most days. It's hard when I'm working etc

I was a lot like this for a long time after having my youngest. Have you tried a food diary? I found cutting out wheat/gluten helps a massive amount.

FurryAndObnoxious · 29/10/2018 14:23

I've done fodmap with limited success. I can't tolerate garlic i know that much lol. I've been having porridge to firm my stools and it helps. it's the nausea too it's awful and the burping. I've started a high dose vit d tab too.

Why does it happens after having a baby?

Have you discussed with your gp for your tummy bother? I too suffer with a very irritable gut on occasion! More so after kid.
I don't know anything about the ulna thing I'm afraid.

Eminybob · 29/10/2018 14:37

Yeah you need to take it regularly to build it up in your system.

Eminybob · 29/10/2018 14:38

(The ibuprofen)

keepingbees · 29/10/2018 14:41

Well I have always had IBS anyway but for me I think it was a cross between hormones being up and down and the tiredness didn't help as I was permanently run down. I definitely seem to be gluten intolerant though, and I burp much less now amongst other things! Are you breastfeeding or on any hormonal contraception? Both played havoc with my stomach.
The burping could be a food intolerance or it could be a bile/gall bladder problem so might be worth a trip to your GP. Some probiotics might be worth a try too

Bunnyhop1502 · 29/10/2018 14:41

I feel you with the wrist issues. My used to sprain just putting the baby in the car. Baby is now 18 months and I’ve been clear but quite a few months so there is hope! I think our bodies take some time to get rid of all the pregnancy hormones hence tummy and joint troubles.

Hardheadedwoman39 · 29/10/2018 14:42

Hi, that all sounds miserable. I've just had baby number three and my body is definitely complaining. Previously I've seen a nutritionist/kinesiologist about health/stomach issues and it completely sorted me out. They look at the fine tuning of the body and can identify the little things that may need changing.

I hope you can find some solutions - having a baby is draining enough with physical ailments!

FurryAndObnoxious · 29/10/2018 14:53

I've seen gp and had lots of tests she said ibs. I was better on the pill i have pcos and although we want another baby honestly I might go back on it as I can't cope with all this again. I'm worried I've got MS or something it's so bad. My stomach is huge today and I'm burping and farting like there's no tomorrow. Dh and I haven't had sex since July I feel so bad

keepingbees · 29/10/2018 15:59

The pill can level your hormones so that might work for you, I'm personally worse on it.
Try going dairy free or wheat free. You'll know after a week if it's helping. I'm not one for fad diets but removing wheat/gluten has really helped and reduced my wind

FurryAndObnoxious · 29/10/2018 17:50

I might have to forget having another baby if this is the way I'll feel it's awful. I'll try gluten free again.

Came to ask if GP would refer you to a dietician for an exclusion diet, but I see you've just been, what did they say?

FurryAndObnoxious · 30/10/2018 10:45

doing calproctin to check inflammation.
Hplyori test. Bloods
Given omperazole and fybrogel

OP posts:
pickingdaisies · 30/10/2018 11:11

Well it sounds like they are taking it seriously thank goodness. Fybogel is a natural product that is great for soothing down your digestive system. I'm guessing the omperazole is for acid reflux, so they are trying to minimise your awful symptoms while they carry out the tests. In the meantime, try to minimise wheat, dairy, sugar in your diet. FurryAndObnoxious · 30/10/2018 11:17

I have to go into work tomorrow and I feel awful

OP posts:
pickingdaisies · 30/10/2018 11:33

If you are so poorly, are you absolutely sure you have to go to work? I'd have thought another day to let the meds kick in would really help.

FurryAndObnoxious · 30/10/2018 13:14

it's a new job I'll have to pull it together and go
