What do I do with a load of 'cookies gone wrong'?

DC baked cookies, and (I think because they used dairy free spread) they have all spread into one mass in the baking tin. It has been picked at and it tastes divine. Shall I just throw it away, or is there anything I can use it for?

Cut them into squares and eat them

Use cutters to remake cookies?
Or put some broken merangue and some cream in a bowl with broken bits on top!!

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 28/10/2018 12:44

Break them up and have them warm with ice cream? Or just cut it into squares and have it as it is to remind the DC that appearances aren’t everything Grin

gilmoregal · 28/10/2018 12:48

Can you cut it into squares?
Or can you break it up into a base for a cheese cake or chocolate pie?

I made flapjacks that didn't work once they just crumbled so I made it into a kind of granola for breakfast

hawleybits · 28/10/2018 12:55

They're just soggy goo, so it won't hold a shape. Delicious, soggy goo though - much too delicious to just throw away. I think some sort of combo with whipped cream or ice cream would be nice. It might work as a base for a cheesecake if I blitzed a few ginger nuts and added them.

yes, cut up the 'slab' and eat the cookies.....

hawleybits · 28/10/2018 12:56

Forgot to mention that the goo also contains chocolate chips...even more goo!

Either cheesecake base or make ice cream with it through it

hawleybits · 28/10/2018 13:02

This is what we're dealing with. It's been in the fridge and it will form little balls! Cookie dough ice cream!

Looks delicious! Bet you couldn't make it again if you tried!
Not sure if it is the dairy free spread. I bake everything we df spread as I've got a milk allergy and have never had this problem.

Loyaultemelie · 28/10/2018 13:19

I definitely definitely don't think you should eat that. In the interest of your family safety I will pm you my address and eat for you Halloween Grin
I don't think it's the dairy free spread either I also do all my baking df

MrsJonesAndMe · 28/10/2018 13:23

Hmmmm drool

hawleybits · 28/10/2018 13:27

Goodness knows how they managed it! I wasn't taking enough notice. I can't begin to describe how delicious it tastes though Smile

Envy very jealous. I'm slightly hungover and could really do with this right now.

Knittedfairies · 28/10/2018 13:36

I can’t see it!

hawleybits · 28/10/2018 13:50

You don't want to see it fairies; one teaspoon is about a million calories Shock

Just get a spoon Grin

This is like one of those threads where someone asks what they should do with a third of a can of left over condensed milk. Someone comes up with an eleborate recipe - everyone else says "get a spoon." Or 'what shall I do with left over Easter Eggs?' And 98% of the responses are "what is a left over Easter egg?"
