Oh don't we just love daylight savings time?

Whoever invented it obviously didntbhave small children. Currently lying in bed having a wheels on the bus marathon with the very wide awake toddler.

How's everyone else spending their extra hour?

2/3 of my kids got up at 6am on the dot. They are old enough to go and sort themselves out though. And I was already up. Don't know where they get it from. DH and the final child would sleep to midday if they were allowed.

Sorry I’m one of those hated people too. It’s never affected my two, they wake at normal time and I put them for naps/bed as normal. They are 4 years and 18 months. (DS 1 was a shit sleeper for the first two years so I’ve done my time, honest )

I didn’t even realise it was tonight! Last night? Oh I don’t know, DD is always up at 6:00 unless I can bribeYouTube her back to bed.

So what time is it really

We "absorb" the change so everyone else's extra hour in bed is my extra hour at work.

I forgot and ds2 got up at 5:30 new time do I sent him back to bed. Ds1 had two friends to sleep over last night so we ended up with 7 people awake before 6. It felt wrong! I've come to terms with it now I have a cup of tea.

DS woke at 6:30, which is half an hour later than usual. So he’s had an extra 1.5 hours sleep. I have no idea how it happened.

I was woken up by the DOG. DH usually gets up at 6:30 and feeds the dogs. Well, he's away and the dog wanted breakfast at his usual time. So I woke up with paws and dog breath in my face.

My two children are still fast asleep.

Awake at 5.21. What a treat.

Awake since 4.20. Spent two hours lying on the floor of the toddlers room being climbed on and failing to encourage sleep. Today will be interesting...
