This just fell out of my mouth!!

Had root canal and crown many years ago. I was just eating soup , of all things, so immediately noticed something very hard! I'm wondering where the rest of it went.

I swallowed a crown and um found it a few days later Grin dentist did another new crown

I have a tooth which may need a crown, and I have been avoiding the idea of it. Now worried about having it done as didn’t fully realise it needs a pin. Think I saw it more of a cap over what is there? I don’t think I can’t have the tooth out as you’d see it (side molar). Sad

I'm not sure if there are different sorts, I had NO IDEA this was in my mouth though, and upon investigation, there's another one still in.
