Son’s 18th birthday but limited funds 😳

The best bit between you is making him feel special. I wouldn't use your budget to pay for you to join him anything, you can do that for free. My children didn't get much, but they walked downstairs into a fully decorated hallway and dining room and they loved it. Ask around for a roll of old wallpaper and use it to make banners. Sparklers will be on offer in two weeks. Put umbrellas in the cups on the table settings, novelty straws etc. Ask about locally, most people have this stuff you can borrow.

What about a Swiss Army knife? I bought these along with watches that I got engraved for both my son's 18 th birthdays. The knives also went down really well and are something they will always have.

OP not a watch strap but like this. It wasn't this one as I found the one I bought my ds in a little jewellery shop in Wales but it is similar.
