...OK, yes, I'm watching a Twilight film Grin

Currently I feel like werewolf is kicking vampire's ass.

God, I'd love to be a werewolf.

Vampire!

VetOnCall · 24/10/2018 18:29

I'd go vampire if it was à la The Vampire Diaries/The Originals where they have daylight rings and fabulous hair. Not if I couldn't go out in the sun because I was a stupid sparkly Twilight job or worst of all, one of the hideous vampires in 30 Days of Night. Watch that and I doubt if vampirism will be all that appealing.

I'd rather do shapeshifter than werewolf but could live with it if I'm like one of the Vampire Diaries werewolves, or Shakira in the She Wolf video Grin

Santaclarita · 24/10/2018 20:34

Vampire for sure. The vampire diaries kind.

UnaOfStormhold · 24/10/2018 20:57

Robin McKinley's Sunshine has weres of various kinds - werebears, were-gila monsters and werechickens (who apparently will pay anything to get the drugs that stop them changing). There are vampires too but given the choice I'd like to be one of her demons, ideally the one which gets all the sleep it needs while it blinks its eyes. Could be so handy...

thenightsky I really thought I was the only one who had ever seen this film, it's bloody brilliant and yet no one has seen it, you've made my night!

Back to the question, Twilight Vamp no, True Blood vamp yes, Originals vamp most definitely Elijah and Klaus Mikaelson Grin

DerelictWreck · 24/10/2018 21:29

It's thread like this that make me fucking love Mumsnet

extremelymaturecheese · 24/10/2018 22:06

Werewolf.

I get to shout at the moon whenever I like, shit in the forest with no one giving a hoot about it PLUS I get to solve all my problems by taking my t-shirt off. Who wouldn't want to be a werewolf?

Vampires just mope, sparkle a bit and then cry about how much they love their barely legal teen lovers. No thanks!

thenightsky · 24/10/2018 22:18

51Pegasus It is my favourite film. I can watch it again and again and it still entertains me. 'werewolves not swearwolves'. Grin

kenandbarbie · 24/10/2018 22:19

Um I think a werewolf. I'd like to be hairy. It looks cosy.

JennyHolzersGhost · 24/10/2018 22:22

Definitely a werewolf. Vampires are lame mopey assholes. And Angua rocks.

DunkandEggAgain · 24/10/2018 23:15

Yeah. You could stroke your hairy legs and be your own furry friend.

EnidButton · 25/10/2018 03:32

Slightly suspicious that the pro werewolf posts have increased on the night of a full moon.

CountFosco · 25/10/2018 05:22

Everyone remembers the sexy vampires. What about Herrick?

WheelyWheelySpookilicousCotee · 25/10/2018 05:36

Another werewolf here.
Vampires can't do sunshine. Werewolves are more versatile, sociable and dexterous.

Could laze in the sun, go adventuring, they hang out with their pack friends. Can eat anything.
And there's a few work colleagues I'd like to take out.

iklboogiemanunderthebed · 25/10/2018 12:45

What We Do In The Shadows is DS's all time favourite film. It's a corker!

DisgraceToTheYChromosome · 27/10/2018 00:18

The guy who directed it did Thor: Ragnarok, which is why it's full of snarky Kiwis.

groundcontroltomontydon · 27/10/2018 05:57

Vampire. Although I'd miss toast.
