Hello,
I am travelling long haul with a 10 month old baby and wondered if anyone can advise if they did this l, was the bassinet big enough?
Also has anyone tried a cozigo on the Ba bassinet? Was it useful?

Thanks

Hi, we fly quite a lot with our two DC as we live overseas. To be honest, at 10 months there was no way DC1 would have fitted in a bassinet. He was way too long (and probably too heavy as well) He was also starting to walk at 10 months so even if I had put him in there, I reckon he would have tried to fling himself out.

Despite that, we still always ask for the bassinet row and then put a blanket and some toys down on the floor and let them sit down there once the seatbelt sign is off.

A 10 month old wouldn't fit well in a cot style bassinet, but they have reclining child seats that fasten onto the same place as the cots and they cater for bigger infants. I don't know what a cozigo is, but the seatbelt on the child seat has to go between the legs. Take a little blanket perhaps?

Ps, you can put a child down on the floor on a day flight but can't let them sleep there or have them there in turbulence.

I think it depends on the airline as they are all different. We flew recently when DD was 10 months and I didn’t even bother fighting for the bassinet row. I figured she’d be too big, wouldn’t settle and she’d try to climb out so not safe.

It is handy to have the extra space though, so if you can get the bulkhead seats then do it.
