Are you a big fan of 19th century Russian literature?

My personal opinion is that the charm lies in not making sense.
This could be a new mumsnet genre, like the "I'm a... Ask me anything" threads.

"if you prefer taking a shower to having a bath, have you ever visited Florida?" the possibilities are endless. Imagine if the dm picked up such a thread and it was seen as quite normal to be asking whether people who ski could only have skimmed milk as a child.

Is this a ruse to either confirm the username of a RL person you know or alternatively, steal their identity?

SinisterClownWatchingYou · 25/10/2018 11:06

First thread on mumsnet that's made me laugh out loud! Grin

IdahoCrow · 25/10/2018 13:54

Malcolms liking it.

If you would buy a sex toy with your weekly Sainsbury's shop, have you ever accidentally booked a holiday to Bali?

Marmite27 · 25/10/2018 13:56

If you like scented candles, do you have an apple tree in your garden? Hmm

IdahoCrow · 25/10/2018 13:58

If I like Sophie Ellis-Bextor, how much sponge should I eat?

MalcolmsBrokenWalrusMoneybox · 25/10/2018 15:02

If you get stuck inside a sequinny frock, have you ever been to centre parcs?

Thenewdoctor · 25/10/2018 15:04

I’ve started war and peace 456 times and it’s driven me to chocolate.

(No idea what this is about. Can someone please explain)

DioneTheDiabolist · 25/10/2018 15:39

Just realised I don't even watch TV adaptations of 19th century Russian literature.Halloween Shock Are you a fan OP?

Thenewdoctor · 25/10/2018 15:42

I have a friend who considers war and peace their favourite book, should they eat fish?

DioneTheDiabolist · 25/10/2018 15:50

It depends on whether it's a batch cooked fish pie or it's served with batch cooked mash and mushy peas from the freezer ftfoawygtfosm.

Thenewdoctor · 25/10/2018 15:52

Can you batch cook mushy peas Dione? #russianliteratureproblems #mushypeascomeinatin #iwantfishpiefordinner

BrookCreek · 25/10/2018 16:02

I've had a copy of War and Peace on my bookshelf for about 30 years. I always thought I'd read it one day if I ever broke my leg and was forcibly immobilised.
Broke my ankle in July.
Did I read W&P?
No I just wasted more hours on MN and ate ready meals instead of batch cooking.

Buxtonstill · 25/10/2018 16:18

If you eat pickled walnuts every third Thursday, will you win the lottery once every five years?

DioneTheDiabolist · 25/10/2018 16:43

Can you batch cook mushy peas Dione?
Yes.

BloodTestQ · 07/11/2018 16:38

I’m pretty sure that you can batch cook anything that you can cook.
